Ministers and Chairman of the Delegation of eleven countries of tropical rain forest owners (Forest Eleven/F-11) has held a Ministerial Meeting (PTM) F-11 held in Nusa Dua, Bali.
Establishment of joint site aimed as a forum for all stakeholders to interact and understand the steps or activities undertaken by countries in the F-11 related problems in forestry and forest management, including issues of forest protection, forest restoration, afforestation and reforestation, as well as efforts to prevent forest degradation and to restore lost forests. Hopefully, with the formation of the joint website, all stakeholders and relevant parties on a regular basis to access the site.

At the meeting, agreed work program and strategic plan of the F-11 that serves as a mechanism for implementation of projects F-11 that will be implemented in the years 2010-2011. Among several projects to be executed is remote sensing for monitoring deforestation and forest degradation, and projects increasing the role of community forests (social forestry) in supporting the resilience of climate (climate resilience) through adaptation and mitigation.
The projects reflect the strong commitment of the countries of the F-11 to jointly conduct activities within the framework of South-South Cooperation. At the same time, the Minister and Chairman-Chairman of the Delegation of the F-11 has the same understanding of the importance of developing cooperation with third parties through triangular Cooperation to support the implementation of cooperation programs of the F-11.
